How do I get into my Hotmail/Outlook.com account if I don’t have the recovery phone or email any more?

This article shows you how to reset your Hotmail account when you forgot your password and no longer have access to your recovery phone number or email address.

How to reset your Hotmail password

Step 1: Go to the Reset password page.

Step 2: Select I forgot my password and click Next.

Step 3: Enter your Hotmail email address and the characters you see in the captcha image and click Next.

Step 4: Click I don’t have any of these, then click Next.

Step 5: Enter an email address that is different from the one you’re trying to recover and click Next.

Step 6: You will need to provide your information including:

1. Your first and last name
2. Your birth date
3. The country/region where you created your account
4. City/region
5. Postal Code

Step 7: Click Next.

Step 8: Enter your new password then click Next.

Step 9: Click OK. If you’ve provided enough information to recover your account, Microsoft will send a notification message to the email you supplied. Then, you can log into your Hotmail account with your new password.
