Microsoft more than doubles the free storage space on the Hotmail email, which is now getting bigger than Google's Gmail.
Microsoft increases the size of the net-based free mail service Hotmail to five gigabytes.
This means that the storage space on Hotmail will be greater than the space offered by the online archive online, Google, writes ComputerWorld.
On the other hand, the storage space on Hotmail remains smaller than the unlimited space that Yahoo makes available on Yahoo! Mail.
So far, the free storage on a Hotmail account has been two gigabytes, while Google on Gmail offers around 2.8 gigabytes.
